What is OSINT? - Open Source Intelligence is information lawfully gathered and collated from the public domain and/or other legally available sources. Information protected by Law is not OSINT and to procure such data is illegal, unless it is in the public domain.

Clients who are legally entitled to monitor the activities of an individual for the purpose of obtaining evidence for presentation in Court, can entrust such a task to Euro-Tec in the knowledge that we are experienced and compliant with all legislation applicable to this type of work. Euro-Tec Investigation Service analysts are skilled in OSINT data gathering and can be relied upon to prepare a report for use as evidence in a court of Law. Indeed Euro-Tec has helped many Clients to swiftly and successfully conclude a case with the evidence gathered and presented by way of the OSINT process.

Historically the traditional method of on-site ‘surveillance’ has been one of the chosen routes of assembling useable evidence, however there are other equally, if not more effective, methods available. In the 21st Century OSINT is becoming the preferred course of carrying out legal support investigations. This modernistic method of gathering information can be used to collate evidence in Civil and Criminal cases, and such research is an excellent tool instead of physical surveillance which can be both protracted and expensive, as well as sometimes proving fruitless.

Euro-Tec offers an expedient service, and on conclusion will provide a comprehensive OSINT report and exhibits, with Witness Statements if required, for production in legal proceedings.

There are many situations where OSINT intelligence gathering may be applicable such as:
